The time is checked again inside the same step that writes the booking, so exactly one of them gets it. A booking waiting for your approval holds its time too.
A service is more than a length of time.
Each service has its duration, the minutes to keep free before and after, and a price. A time is only offered when the session and both buffers fit around what's already booked.

The calendars you already keep.
Google Calendar
Each professional connects their own calendar. New bookings appear there, and their events block time in GetUp, read every day for the next 30 days.
Wix Bookings
Services, staff and bookings from your Wix site come into GetUp. Nothing made in GetUp is written back to Wix.
Google Calendar is included on Growth and Scale, Wix Bookings on Scale. On smaller plans the calendar add-on brings both for €19 a month.

What bookings don't do.
The page takes the booking and keeps the time. These happen elsewhere, or not at all.
- Reminders
No reminder emails.
Customers get a confirmation when they book, not a reminder before the visit.
- Payments
No online payments or deposits.
Payments are recorded by hand as cash, bank transfer, card or other. Customers can't pay or leave a deposit on the booking page.
- Waitlist
No waitlist.
When a time is taken, it's taken. Customers can't queue for a slot that frees up.
- Wix
No writing back to Wix.
Wix Bookings data comes into GetUp. Bookings made in GetUp aren't written back to your Wix site.
- SMS
No SMS.
Confirmations and alerts go by email only.
- Accounts
No customer accounts.
Customers book as guests with their name and email. There's no login or booking history for them.
