Kontomatik

Open-banking aggregator that lets your business connect its bank account via PSD2 — once the account holder authorises, transactions and balances flow into Expenses and cash-flow without scraping or shared credentials.

Region

Production coverage today: PL · CZ · ES · EE · LT · LV · PT · RO. Bank-by-bank coverage varies — see Kontomatik's developer docs for the live list.

What it does

  • Read-only bank account access — balances and transactions only. Kontomatik never moves money.
  • Account-holder authorisation — the person who owns the bank account (typically the company owner or a finance lead) goes through their bank's strong-customer authentication (SCA). GetUp never sees the bank credentials.
  • Daily sync — new transactions land in Expenses; balances refresh on the dashboard. Force a sync with the Sync button.

How to connect

  1. Open /integrations and click Connect on the Kontomatik card.
  2. Open the Kontomatik authorisation link from the modal — or forward it to whoever owns the bank account. They pick their bank, complete SCA, and grant read access.
  3. On callback, GetUp stores the encrypted access token, labels the connection with the bank name and last-4 of the IBAN, and triggers the first sync.
  4. From this point, transactions land in Finance → Expenses automatically. You can still add manual expenses on top — the sync de-duplicates by transaction ID.

Data direction

Inbound only: bank → GetUp. No outbound.

Disconnect

Click Disconnect on the same Kontomatik card. The OAuth grant is revoked on Kontomatik's side and the token is removed from our store. Past transactions stay in your Expenses register — disconnect doesn't purge history.
