From setup to running it
Setting up check-in at a location takes a few minutes.

Put a tablet at the entrance
Sign the tablet in to the location. It shows that site's check-in and check-out codes.

Give every person a login
Staff use their own GetUp login on their phone, in the app or a browser.

Check in at the start of a shift
Around the shift start, the tablet shows a check-in code. The person enters it from their login and their start time is recorded.

How does check-in work in GetUp?

Do staff need their own phone?
Yes. Each person checks in from their own login, in the GetUp app or a browser on their phone, using the code shown on the tablet.
How long is a code valid?
Check-in codes expire after 10 minutes and check-out codes after 15 minutes, so they have to be read on site.
What happens if someone arrives a little early or late?
Checking in before the planned start, or up to 2 minutes after it, records the shift as starting on time. A later check-in records the actual time.
Does it work across several locations?
Yes. Each location has its own tablet and codes, and every check-in is stored in the same company account.
