Use case · Multi-company

Run several businesses from one login, not one app each.

Owning more than one company usually means owning more than one of everything: a scheduling tool here, an invoicing tool there, a separate login per brand and no view across the whole thing. GetUp holds many legal entities in one tenant — staff and shifts shared where it helps, invoicing kept properly separate where it must be, and one AI that can answer across all of them.

  • Many companies and brands under one account and one login
  • Separate invoicing, numbering and counter-parties per entity
  • Shared staff, scheduling and an AI that sees across the whole group

The problem

What this fixes

What changes when several businesses share one operating panel.

Without GetUp

Each company has its own apps and its own login. Switching between them all day, you never see the group at once.

With GetUp

One account holds every entity. Switch context in a click; see one business or the whole group.

Without GetUp

A staff member who works for two of your companies is duplicated, and their combined hours are invisible.

With GetUp

Shared staff are one record across entities, so combined hours and overtime are actually visible.

Without GetUp

Invoicing for several companies in one tool means mixed numbering and the constant risk of billing under the wrong entity.

With GetUp

Each company keeps its own issuer profile, numbering series and counter-parties — separate where the law needs it to be.

How it works

From setup to running it

Setting up a multi-company operation in GetUp, in order.

  1. 01

    Create your companies

Add each legal entity to the one tenant. Every company gets its own profile — issuer details, numbering series and counter-parties — so its paperwork stays its own.

  2. 02

    Add locations under each

Place each company's sites beneath it. Locations carry their own hours, rota and tablet check-in, while still rolling up to the company and the group.

  3. 03

    Share staff where it helps

Add people once and assign them across entities. Someone who works for two of your brands is a single record, with combined hours visible.

  4. 04

    Invoice per entity

Issue invoices from the right company, with that entity's numbering and details — and, in Poland, KSeF FA-3 e-invoicing from the same flow.

  5. 05

    Ask across the whole group

Use GetUp AI to ask questions that span companies — staffing, hours, revenue against target — and get answers cited to the rows, respecting each user's permissions.

Outcomes

What changes

What one panel across several businesses gives you.

1

Login for everything

Every company, brand and location under one account — switch context instead of switching tools.

Entities, kept separate

Hold as many companies as you operate, each with its own invoicing identity, in the same place.

Staff that aren't duplicated

People shared across companies are one record, so combined hours and overtime are finally visible.

A view across the group

One AI and one set of reports can answer for a single business or the whole portfolio at once.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Can I manage multiple companies from one GetUp account?

Yes. A single GetUp tenant can hold many legal entities. Each company has its own invoicing profile, numbering and counter-parties, but you manage them all from one login — switching context to work in one business or seeing the whole group together.

Is each company's invoicing kept separate?

Yes, and deliberately so. Every company carries its own issuer profile, numbering series and counter-parties, so invoices are always raised under the correct entity. In Poland, KSeF FA-3 e-invoicing runs from the same flow, per company.

What about a staff member who works for two of my businesses?

They're one record, assignable across entities, so their combined hours and overtime are visible rather than split across duplicate profiles in separate tools. That single view is one of the main reasons multi-company owners consolidate onto GetUp.

Does it cost more per company?

GetUp is priced as a flat monthly plan rather than per company or per employee, so holding several entities in one tenant doesn't multiply the bill the way running a separate tool per business does.

Can the AI answer questions across all my businesses?

Yes. GetUp AI can reason across the entities in your tenant — staffing, hours, revenue against target — and returns answers cited to the underlying rows, while respecting each user's role-based permissions so people only see what they're allowed to.
